9 Day Itinerary

 

ITINERARY

 

Day 1: Depart USA

Depart on an international flight to Paris. Enjoy dinner served aboard overnight flight.

 

Day 2: Paris

Arrive Paris in the morning where you will be met outside the restricted customs area by our professional tour escort who will greet and assist you to your private deluxe motor coach. On our way into the city, we’ll show you already some of the highlights of Paris. Around noon, check in to your hotel and time to freshen up. This afternoon, Mass will be celebrated at the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal. Dinner and overnight Paris. (D)

 

Day 3: Paris / Lisieux / Caen

This morning, we’ll follow the Seine river west to Normandy. Stop in Lisieux and visit the Shrine of St. Theresa. Mass will also be celebrated in Lisieux. This afternoon we will visit the Memorial Museum of Caen to introduce us to the events of D-Day and the summer of 1944. Dinner and overnight. Caen (B,D)

 

Day 4: Normandy Beaches / Mont St. Michel

This morning, we’ll follow the Normandy coastal line, following the paths of the American infantry, rangers and paratroopers. We’ll visit Omaha Beach, St-Laurent American Cemetery, Pointe du hoc. This afternoon we continue towards Mont-Saint-Michel for a visit. Back to Caen for dinner and overnight at the hotel. (B,D)

 

Day 5: Caen / Reims

We will leave Normandy this morning and drive across France to Reims. The Reims Cathedral is among the most magnificent in Europe. We’ll visit the Cathedral as well as a Champagne cellar, and of course be treated to samples. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Reims. (B,D)

 

Day 6: Reims / Luxemburg / Bastogne

From Reims, we’re taking you to Luxemburg where we’ll visit the American Military Cemetery where General Patton is buried. We also take you on an orientation tour of Luxemburg city, showing the highlights of this town. You’ll also have time to purchase some lunch. This afternoon, continue to Bastogne, site of the “Battle of the Bulge”. We see the towns, monuments to this epic battle. Dinner and overnight in the Bastogne area. (B,D)

 

Day 7: Beauraing and Banneux (Belgium)

After breakfast we take you into the Belgian Ardennes to the town of Beauraing. In 1932 the Holy Virgin appeared to 5 local children. Visit the sanctuary and celebrate Mass. We continue to Banneux, the town where between January 15 and March 2, 1933, the Holy Virgin appeared to Mariette Beco. Late afternoon we get back to our hotel near Bastogne for dinner and overnight. Day 8: Paris

Today we travel back into France, passing by Bouillon where we admire the castle of Godfroi of Bouillon, one of the last crusaders. Continue to Paris for dinner and overnight near the airport. (B,D)

 

Day 9: Paris / USA

Depart after breakfast for Paris airport. Arrive in the US same day. (B)
