DAY 1: DEPART USA
Start your journey aboard an overnight flight. Meals will be served. DAY 2: LYON
Arrival Lyon where you will be met outside the restricted customs area by our professional tour escort who will greet and assist you to your private deluxe motor coach. Visit the Basilica of Notre Dame of Fourviere and its Marian Museum, where one hundred statues of the Madonna are exhibited. Transfer to the hotel for check-in. Dinner and overnight Lyon. (D) DAY 3: LYON / PARAY-LE-MONIAL / ARS
On the night of December 27, 1673, a pious young nun in the Convent of the Visitation received an apparition of Christ in which He revealed the “inexplicable secrets of His Sacred Heart.” Today we depart Lyon for a scenic drive to Paray-Le-Monial, where on December From that first apparition until her death on October 17, 1690, Sr. Margaret-Mary continued to report other revelations in which Christ asked for special devotion to His Sacred Heart. From this little town of 9,000 the Sacred Heart Devotion spread across the world. Sr. Margaret-Mary was canonized as St. Margaret-Mary on May 13, 1920. Then continue on to Ars to visit the Basilica of St. John Vianney. Here the saint’s body is in a reliquary. Return to Lyon for dinner and overnight. (B,D) DAY 4: LYON / LOURDES
We depart Lyon for Lourdes. Tonight we join the magnificent candlelight procession in Lourdes. (B,D) DAY 5: LOURDES
After Mass at the famous Grotto where Our Lady appeared to Bernadette, we will have a guided tour of the beautiful Basilica and St. Pius X ~ the largest underground church in the world! We will visit family home of Bernadette, where she lived at the time of the apparitions. There is ample time for personal devotions to bathe in the miraculous baths and blessing of the sick, or browse the many religious shops. Feel free to experience the evening candlelight procession again. (B,D) DAY 6: LOURDES / PARIS
After breakfast we depart Lourdes on the TGV express train to Paris. Remainder of afternoon free. Tonight dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight Paris. (B,D) DAY 7: PARIS
After breakfast we visit the highlights of Paris ~ the City of Lights! First we visit the Sacre Coeur Church on Montmartre, inspired by the Sacred Heart Devotion which began in Paray-Le-Monial by St. Margaret-Mary. After Mass, we continue on to see the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Ile-De-La-Cite, Palace Vendome, Rue de Rivoli, Les Halles, the Louvre Collandes, St. Germaine, Palace de la Bastille and the Arc of Triumph. Tonight enjoy dinner at a local French Bistro. (B,D) DAY 8: CHARTRES / LISIEUX
Today an excursion to Chartres and the “Earthly Palace of the Queen of Heaven.” Visit the Cathedral with over 1,000 beautiful stained glass windows dedicated to Our Lady. Then on to Lisieux ~ home of St. Therese, the Little Flower. Visit the great Basilica and tomb of St. Therese, and the Chateau of St. Germain Delivel. Dinner and overnight Paris. (B,D) DAY 9: PARIS
Today is a free day. Visit the museums, churches, or shop in the Paris boutiques. Or take an optional tour to Nevers to visit the convent of St. Gildard, where St. Bernadette’s incorrupt body reposes. Back to Paris for dinner in a local Bistro and Overnight. (B,D) DAY 10: PARIS / USA
After breakfast depart for airport. Arrive U.S.A. same day. (B) Included Highlights:
